Catalina Cruz grew up as a DREAMer and became an attorney fighting for tenants, immigrants, and workers’ rights. Catalina is running for the New York State Assembly (39) to represent the neighborhoods of Corona, Elmhurst, and Jackson Heights. Catalina most recently served as the Chief of Staff for the City Council Finance Chair. She has worked to help pass key legislation protecting workers, women, and business owners. She has previously served as the Director of Governor’s Exploited Workers Task Force, helping New York become a national leader in the fight against worker exploitation. She began her career as a housing attorney and currently serves as the president of the Latino Lawyers Association of Queens County.

Paulette Jordan, the mother of two sons, grew up on a farm in northern Idaho where she developed a strong connection to the land and the people who share it. A proud member of the Coeur d’Alene tribe, she was raised to fight for the needs of her community and to protect our priceless natural resources. Paulette was the youngest person elected to the Coeur d’Alene Tribal Council and went on to work as a business development strategist and Finance Chair on the Executive Board of the National Indian Gaming Association. In 2014, she ran to represent her home district in the Idaho House of Representatives, beating an incumbent Republican, and successfully ran for a second term two years later.

After serving as a voting rights lawyer for the 2012 Obama campaign, she worked as Director of the Governor’s DC office, where she ensured hundreds of millions of dollars of relief got back to her homestate after the 2013 floods. Colonel (Ret.) Felicia French served 32 years in the U.S. Army and Arizona National Guard as a nurse, MedEvac helicopter pilot, Arizona State Equal Employment Officer and Senior Medical Advisor in Afghanistan. She is also a mother, an educator, a Sustainability scientist, an activist with Sierra Club, and a volunteer with her local Search and Rescue, Civil Air Patrol, and Community Emergency Response Team. She has earned a B.S. in Nursing and an M.S. in Sustainable Solutions from Arizona State University, and an M.S. in Systems Management from the University of Southern California.
